You came running back to Konoha through the forest, with blood on your cloths and your mask after you assasinate a lord that was threatening the village. You landed lightly infrontof the gates and calmly walk in with your hands in your pockets, you past the quiet guards and jump on one of the roofs, since you don't want to get any attentions since you are covered in blood.
You knocked on the Hokage office "Come in!" and you open the door to see Tsunade drinking some sake and some paper work on her desk. "Mission Success." pulling out something from your bag and show the head of the lord himself "Well done, and please clean up, you look like you have been in a very bloody war." pinching her nose from the blood scent. You just nodded to her and place the head on her desk and bow to her and left the office quietly.
Tsunade just sigh under her breath and take another shot of her sake on her desk "This kid need some company sometimes, she's very quiet." she said it to herself. You appear infront of your apartment and walked in after you unlocked the door, then you looked at the calender that was handing next to the door *That's today...* you looked at the ground for awhile then take your shoes off your feet and went to the bathroom to take a hot shower.
Many minutes later you got into new cloths with your hair down, you walked down the stairs slowly with your face down looking at the ground, you walk to the Yamanaka shop wher they sell out many flowers, and you went in to see Ino Yamanaka behind the counter looking quite bored.
"Hey Mayuri-chan!" when she saw you her face brighten up and you just return the gesture "Hey Ino-chan, do you have some white roses?" and she only did a thinking pose "Yeah, I think I have some in the back." she went through the door behind and many seconds later she came back with a banquet of white roses "Perfect, arigato Ino-chan." paying her the cost of the banquet and left the shop quietly and head your way to the graves when the cloud was getting darker with a sound of lightning.
You got infront of your parents graves stones and place the white roses infront of them "Hi mom, dad." more like a whisper and you just stand there for awhile until a heavy rain came down making your wet and your cloths soaked while you were still watching your parents grave for a very long time. Until something got over you blocking the rain, you turn your head to see Kakashi himself holding an umbrella "Don't want you to get wet Yuri-chan." he said with your kid nickname and you just smile at him softly "Hey Kaka-kun."

He grabbed your hand softly with his and guided you to his place, you stare at your hand that is entertwine with his and it just make you blush. *He.....he can never feel the same way about me....* you looked at the ground sadly as Kakashi was still guiding you to his apartment.
You got to his apartment and he open the door for you to enter first, it was a normal size apartment and you were alittle surprise that it was well cleaned. You sat on the couch as Kakashi pull out his vest, gloves and his head band. "Mayuri...." that payed your attention because he usually called your childhood nickname "...do you.....have any interested with anybody?" he suddenly asked you, you blush and turn away from him "Maybe..."
Kakashi: "Who?" he sounded abit angry and that made you even more curious
you: "Well, he's smart, funny, handsome, loyal, mysterious and likes to read books."
Kakashi: "What's his name?" still the same angry tone and you gulped hard "I..can't say it.." and that made you look at him "What do you mean you can't?" he changed his voice into curiousity.
you: "It's just that, I'm kinda afraid."
Kakashi: "Afraid of what?" sitting right next to you now and you could feel his body heat that made you blush even more.
you: "I'm afraid that, he might not feel the same about me.."

you:......you..." and you could see that Kakashi has his eyes widen abit.

So you got up from your seat and quikly ran out of the apartment and ran to yours leaving Kakashi who is still shocked. You barged into your apartment room and fall yourself on the couch with your hands on your face *I'm such an idiot!!! Now he's completely freaked out and doesn't want to be my friend anymore!!" feeling some tears in your eyes, until you couldn't take it anymore and let them slide down from your eyes.
You have been crying quietly for awhile until an hour and two you went into slumber, later on you suddenly woke up with the sound of tapping on your window. You went to the window to see a pigeon with a rolled up note attached to it's leg. You open the window to let the bird in and landed on your arm, you took the note from it and unrolled it.
*Tsunade wants to see me now..* you crush the small note and turn it into ashes and let the pigeon out of the window. You wear your ninja outfit and went out of the apartment and jump through the roofs to get there more faster. You got to the mansion and went through the doors to the office, you got infront of it and knock the door loudly "Come in!" you enter the room to see Tsunade and....Kakashi himself. He didn't even glanced at you when you entered the office and you could already feel the tight tension in the air of the room.
Tsunade: "Mayuri, I have a mission for you with Kakashi here. Your mission is to retrieve a stolen scroll from the Land of Snow. The scroll is great importance to this village, so don't fail me in this mission." giving you a strict look and Kakashi. "Hai." you both said it at the same time. Tsunade handed you the information you need to accomplish the mission, and you both exited the room silently.
You couldn't bare to look at him and he seem to be the same thing, why did Tsunade put you two together now after what happened a few hours ago. *This is a disaster...* feeling sadness in your heart, like it has broken into two.

You got to the gates with your back-pack on, waiting for Kakashi to show up. *How are we going to get through this, this will be very akward after what I said before.* biting your thumb abit. Kakashi then suddenly appeared infront of you and also have his bad on his back but he wasn't even looking at you in the eye, only to the ground "Let's go." he only said and started his way on the road, you sigh heavily and followed him as the sound of silence fell upon you both.
You have been like this for a long time until you reached the Land of Snow, so you both have to change into your winter cloths that you both brought for in the trip. You follow the map that Tsunade gave you to find "They're base is right over there." you said as you pointed at a cliff and you could see a small black smoke raising up to the air, Kakashi just noded without looking at you at all, and that made you feel even more guilty *Me and my big mouth..*
Later on you were hiding behind an ice sculpture along with Kakashi, he signaled you that he will go first and you just noded to him, he jumped into the enemy first and you could hear some clashing and some grunting sounds, then you joined in. You kicked an Snow ninja in the face when he was about to stab Kakashi on the back while he is distracted by the other one. You pulled out some kunais and throw them to one of the enemy infront of you, they dodge it easily but you smirk *Haha, gotcha.* doing a simple handsigns and the bomb tags went off when the enemy landed on them.
Kakashi finish off the enemy then he sees another one that was doing some handsigns facing you, going to attack you from behind, when the last handsign was made, many sharp needle made out of ice suddenly appear and ice shot up from the ground around you, chaining you down so you couldn't move "Mayuri!!" Kakashi shouted to you when the sharp ice shot to you.
You closed your eyes for the impact but they suddenly never came, you open your eyes and what you saw make your eyes widen more, Kakashi was protecting infront of you, taking the impact "...Kakashi..." you whisper and you couldn't believe that he had done that for you. The ice that chained you suddenly melted away and you could feel your blood boiling in rage when you saw Kakashi's blood mixing with the snow, he suddenly collasped to the ground spreading more blood. You then did some handsigns *Fire-style Fire ball jutsu!* you blew out a ball of fire towards the enemy and you could hear him screams from your flames.
You then check on Kakashi and turn him around so he is laying on his back, at least he is breathing, but his mask darken from his blood. You did a shadow clone to find the scroll while you take care of Kakashi, you brought him on your back carefully and ran away from the base before the enemy shows up again, you keep searching for a place to treat Kakashi's wounds, you then finally found a cave hidden behind a frozen waterfall.
You got behind the frozen waterfall quickly and put Kakashi gently on the ground, you summon a shadow clone again to get some woods for you both, you take off Kakashi's vest and pull his shirt up abit to show his chest to you, there was alot of wounds from the jutsu. You concentrate your chakra in your hands and it suddenly turn light green, you place both of your hands on his chest and slowly treat him so he wouldn't bleed to death.
Hours later you manage to treat his wounds, but you feel exhausted, wasting alot of chakra and almost faint. the clone before brought enough fire wood to last the whole night, and the other clone found the scroll and brought it to you so you can keep in safetly in your bag. You put a coat from your bag and rolled it up into a pillow, you lifted Kakashi's head abit not to wake him up and lay his head on your coat-pillow, you took his head-band off and place it next to him. You looked back at his chest where you treat his wounds and you could see that he has a six-pack, you blush hard and looked away as you put his shirt down to cover his chest. You pulled out a blanket from your bag and pull it over his body to make him warm.

Kakashi: "You're right, I don't like you..." that shocked you totally and you could feel tears swelling up in your eyes, you felt a finger under your chin and make you turn your head around and you see that Kakashi is maskless and wow is he incredibly handsome and he is so close to your face that his nose was barely touching yours.
